OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Dickies clothing company has named a Midwest City fire sprinkler installer the 2004 Oklahoma Worker of the Year.

Robin Fullen nominated her husband, 45-year-old Rob Fullen for the award.

His wife says Fullen loves his job and works hard.

Dickies names a worker of the year in each state. It will announce the American Worker of the Year on Labor Day.

The company received more than 9,000 entries, submitted by family members, co-workers, bosses and friends who described why their nominees represented ``the spirit of the American worker.''
