POTEAU, Okla. (AP) _ A Poteau teenager is dead after an accident on a LeFlore County road.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 15-year-old Brittany Cox was killed last night when the 2002 Chevrolet Camaro she was riding in went off the road, hit an embankment and rolled onto its top.

Cox was ejected from the car and pinned under the car. Crews had to use the Hurst tool to free her.

The driver and two other passengers had minor injuries treated at a hospital and were released. Two other passengers were not injured in the crash around 11:20 last night just west of Poteau.

The highway patrol says none of the six teenagers were wearing seat belts.
