Lowrance Electronics earnings Up 65 percent

TULSA, Okla. (Dow Jones) _ Tulsa-based Lowrance Electronics is reporting a 65% increase in its fourth-quarter income.

The company makes sonar products and global positioning system devices.

Lowrance says sales jumped 17%, leading to earnings of $2-million, or 51 cents a share. That's up from $1.2--million, or 31 cents a share during the same period last year.
