The News on 6 received a special award from the Volunteers of America Thursday for our involvement in the community.

6 In the Morning's LeAnne Taylor accepted the award.

It recognized our efforts in promoting education, along with Project Warmth, an effort to help those who are less fortunate stay warm during the winter months.
