The News on 6 has learned about a tragic homecoming for an Oklahoma soldier. Earlier this month, the News on 6 told you about Sergeant First Class Danny Bacher.

He flew home from Iraq to be by his daughter's hospital bed. Just days after he had gone back to Iraq his daughter died from complications with spina bifida. Sergeant Bacher came home to visit his 14-year-old daughter Christina less than a month ago.

The Bacher's said they thought she was going to bounce back, like she had so many times before. She soon after her released she started having life-threatening complications.

Sergeant Bacher is back home on a two week leave for her funeral.
