The prosecutor appointed to investigate a Creek County judge speaks out about the case.
Patrick Ryan says he had not planned to discuss the case until Judge Donald Thompson [pictured] called a news conference last week to deny everything.
Ryan sent the News on 6 a statement that says in part, "let there be no mistake, the case against Judge Thompson is exceedingly strong."
He also says Thompson resigned the day before he was supposed to answer questions under oath. Ryan says a number of witnesses supported the allegations, including jurors from two murder trials.
He says cassette tapes recorded the sound of the penis pump in use during court. Finally, Ryan says there were two pumps and the first one was photographed before the birthday in which Thompson claims he got it as a gag gift.
