A Rogers County hospital is making sure it grows with the community. Claremore's Regional Hospital opened the doors Tuesday to a state-of-the-art surgery center.

The facility features two new operating rooms, a recovery area, and a separate entrance to make sure patients can get in and get out quickly.

David Chaussard with the Claremore Regional Hospital: "If they're here on the lunch hour, they can run in and get something done. It's quick, it's simple and we have the state of the art. There's nothing in Tulsa that's better than what we have. It's phenomenal."

The hospital also added a new MRI unit, a CAT scan machine and new mammogram scanners. And this is just phase 1 of a $15-million construction project. Phase 2 will feature a building three times the size for doctor's offices.
