Tulsaâ€™s "Center for the Physically Limited" is now "The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges."

The new name reflects a more up to date approach to the kinds of programs and help available at The Center at 815 South Utica. The Center now serves more than seven hundred members, and everyone is looking forward to the completion of the new 35,000 square foot facility due after the first of the year.

Executive Director George Moudry Ed D: â€œThat'll give us the ability to serve about four times the number of members we have now."

Many of the classes they offer in the current center have waiting lists. Dr Moudry says the current facility will fit inside the gymnasium of the new one, and the new building will have three areas designated as severe weather shelters.
