McALESTER, Okla. (AP) -- Local law enforcement officers are helping search for an inmate who escaped from a McAlester prison.
33-year-old Roger Scott Robinson was discovered missing from the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center during a head count early Saturday.
Tracking dogs from the correctional center are following scents in two areas but Robinson hasn't been spotted.
He's described as a white male who is 5-feet-10 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. Robinson has green eyes and long gray hair and may be wearing gray sweats.
Robinson was serving concurrent 20-year sentences from Canadian County on four counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon after a former felony conviction.
The escape was the third from the correctional center in the last month. Two inmates who escaped July 15th were captured within a few days.
