Families of those who have donated organs are being recognized for their loved ones' life giving generosity.

It's because of their generosity that more than 300 transplants were performed in Oklahoma last year.

Robert Turner with LifeShare of Oklahoma: "Their gifts, their remarkable gifts at a moment of tragedy have resulted in many lives saved."

Many of the donor families made quilt squares honoring their loved one, which will become a part of the Oklahoma donor family quilt.

A virtual memorial wall also displayed the names of last yearâ€™s donors, honoring them for their gift of life.
