Creek County escapee recaptured

A convicted felon who ran out of a Bristow courtroom last week has been recaptured in Missouri. <br/><br/>The News on 6 has learned that Raymond Smith was captured Tuesday evening in Branson, Missouri.

A convicted felon who ran out of a Bristow courtroom last week has been recaptured in Missouri.

The News on 6 has learned that Raymond Smith was captured Tuesday evening in Branson, Missouri. Smith has been on the run since last Wednesday.

The Creek County Sheriff tells the News on 6, Smith was captured at a motel in Branson. No word on when he will be returned to Oklahoma.

When he ran, Smith was about to be sentenced for assaulting a police officer.
