Families in Green Country who've adopted children from India got together for a special camp Saturday.
Dillion International hosted the day camp at Saint James United Methodist Church in Tulsa. Parents attended workshops about adoption issues. The kids had fun learning about their native country.
Rebecca Hackworth with Dillion International: "We try to teach them more about their heritage, the wonderful things about India that we want them to be proud of as they grow-up. They don't have any problem learning American culture, but we want to help them preserve their Indian culture so they can be comfortable in both worlds."
Dillion International has been helping families adopt kids from Korea for about 30 years. They started in India in the late 1980's.
