The search continues for a convicted felon on the run in Creek County.
26-year-old Raymond Smith has been on the run since Wednesday when he bolted from a Bristow courtroom. Smith was handcuffed and still wearing a bright orange jail jumpsuit, just as he was about to receive a 10-year sentence for assault and battery.
Despite several sightings Thursday morning, no one's been able to track Smith down yet.
People in Creek County say the search reminds them of the largest manhunt in Oklahoma history during the search for double murderer Scott Eizember.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper Lt Jack McCoy: "This guy has not displayed the tendencies and the violence that Eizember displayed, but there are still problems with this guy obviously, he's had some problems with the law and then we are determined to catch him and bring him to justice."
Deputies 'did' make one arrest. The suspect's brother stopped by the command post, where officers arrested him on several outstanding warrants.
