About 100 Oklahoma National Guard troops will be deployed later this week for up to 16 months.

They are members of the First Battalion, 245th Aviation Regiment. And they're based here in Tulsa along with a company based in Lexington.

Theyâ€™ll spend the next few months training at Fort Sill and in Alabama before they're deployed overseas before the end of the year.
