Political campaigns are working hard to reach Hispanic voters. Now there's a new website to help Oklahoma's Hispanic voters reach an informed decision at the polls.
It's a project by the Oklahoma Prosperity Project, the state Chamber of Commerce and SBC Oklahoma. The Spanish language site has information about voter issues, registration, elections and candidates.
Margarita Trevino is the publisher and editor of Hispano De Tulsa, a weekly Hispanic newspaper. She says the website is a positive step.
Margarita Trevino, Hispano De Tulsa: "There's a great lack of education when it comes to voting. Why to vote. Who to vote for, even what the difference between Democrat and Republican is."
