Tulsa's Ameristar Fence Products is expanding and adding jobs.

The company announced Thursday; they plan to build a new manufacturing facility at their current location on North Mingo.

The new facility will create 200 new jobs. Ameristar is the nation's largest manufacturer of metal fencing products.

Some of their fence product surrounds the US Army Corps of Engineers office in Tulsa[pictured].

The construction of the new plant depends upon approval of its zoning request with the city of Tulsa.
