Tulsa Police make an unusual arrest early Wednesday after reports of a man threatening customers at a convenience store with a sword.
Police say several people came into the Quik Trip on 11th and Utica, reporting Steven French was walking around nearby threatening them. After a quick search they found French a couple of blocks away at his home near 10th and St Louis.
They didn't find a sword, but did find something just as incriminating. Tulsa Police officer Shawn King: "He gave officers consent to search his house but forgot there was a bong and marijuana in his living room. If you're gonna give consent to search your house, you should probably make sure you don't have your bong in your house".
No injuries were reported. French faces domestic violence and drug charges.
