Tulsa's police union says it may have to go to arbitration to get a new contract.

Officers have been working without a contract since July 1st. The Fraternal Order of Police says the city and police agree on most issues except wages. Officers want an 8% salary increase.

They say it's needed if they want to retain officers. A recent survey of 10 other cities found Tulsa Police were the most educated officers, but also the least paid.
