(Oklahoma City-AP) --An assistant gymnastics coach at the University of Oklahoma is headed to the Olympics.
Guard Young got the final spot on the team after announcing last month that this would be his final attempt at trying for an Olympic team. Young was a member of the 2001 and 2002 world championship squads.
Blaine Wilson was given the first of the two remaining spots on the U-S men's gymnastics squad for the Athens Games. It'll be his third appearance on the Olympic. Wilson made the team less than five months after tearing his left biceps.
Raj Bhavsar and 2000 Olympian Stephen McCain were selected as alternates.
