A candidate for Sequoyah County commissioner says his opponent is snatching his campaign signs and he caught it on video tape.

Steve Carter says when he began noticing his signs were missing, he thought at first it was just the weather knocking them down. Then he got a call that someone found the signs in a creek. So Carter decided on a stake-out, and says this tape show his opponent, incumbent Lewis Warren taking the signs three different times.

A sheriff's deputy is investigating. Carter has decided he will not press charges. Warren has apologized, saying he embarrassed himself and his family and knows he made a mistake.
