The extreme heat has triggered a Heat Alert for Friday.

EMSA issued the alert late Thursday afternoon. EMSA calls for an alert when paramedics respond to five or more heat calls in a 24-hour period, and when dangerously hot weather is expected to continue.

There is -NOT- an Ozone Alert for Friday. During Thursday's Ozone Alert, Tulsa did not violate clean air standards.
