A man escaped a house fire early Thursday that caused up to $80,000 in damages. Broken Arrow fire fighters say the fire started around 1 AM inside a double-wide home near East 83rd and South 301st East Avenue.

The man was already outside when they arrived. Authorities say they did not have a water hydrant to fight the blaze, so they worked to contain it.

The cause is under investigation.
