An Oklahoman is among three people who died after being infected with rabies following an organ transplant.

The Centers for Disease Control says this is the first time rabies has been spread this way. The three victims received the diseased lungs, kidneys and liver from an Arkansas man who died of a brain hemorrhage.

He hadn't shown any signs of the disease. The CDC says future organs may have to be screened for rabies.
