There's a change at the top at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. It has a new commander.

Colonel Gary Carney took over Thursday at the plant during a change of command ceremony. Carney comes to Oklahoma from the Army's Tank and Armaments Command in Michigan.

Over the past three years, the plant's work force has gone up from 800 to 1,400 to help supply the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
