(Ardmore, Oklahoma-AP) -- Amtrak service between Oklahoma City and Fort Worth, Texas, is expected to resume Friday once a train derailment in southern Oklahoma is cleaned up.
The train's travel was delayed after 24 cars from a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train derailed near Ardmore early Wednesday.
The Amtrak train uses the same tracks as the derailed train.
Amtrak says customers who would have traveled on the Heartland Flyer are being transported by bus. Amtrak is also allowing customers to exchange their tickets for use on another day.
No one was hurt in the derailment.
