Educational Development Corporation had a book sale today and some of the proceeds will go towards our Raising the Grade, Book-by-Book drive. This successful children's book distributor is the only Oklahoma company to make that Fortune list. C-E-O Randall Smith says today's book sale was an appreciation day... to give back to the community for the company's success. Book prices were discounted from 50 to 75 percent. So, many teachers, homeschool instructors and parents took advantage of the great deals and stocked up on some really terrific books. The Usborne books are made in England and include beautiful illustrations with information that children of all ages can learn from.

White says the idea is to make learning fun. He's also donating a number of those books to our book drive. Today was the only day for the sale, but you can find these books at any Barnes and Noble or Borders bookstore. You can also purchase them online by going to ubah.com.
