Couple to donate millions to stadium project

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ The owner of the fifth-largest temporary employment agency in the world and his wife are making a multi-million pledge to improve the Oklahoma State University football stadium.

OSU officials didn't specify how much Bob and Nedra Funk are donating to the ``Next Level'' campaign, but said it is the second-largest.

The south side Club Level in Boone Pickens Stadium will be named Express Personnel Club Level after the company Funk founded in 1983.

``This is an incredible commitment to our stadium improvement,'' said Harry Birdwell, OSU Athletics Director.

``We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Mr. Funk regarding his interest in supporting Oklahoma State, assisting in providing a state-of-the art sports complex and leaving a legacy for his family.''

The university has raised more than $60 million of its $86 million goal in gifts and pledges toward stadium improvements.

``I am particularly grateful that a corporation headquartered in Oklahoma has stepped forward to assist our stadium improvement effort,,' said OSU President and System CEO David Schmidly.
