A former Oklahoma mayor awaiting sentencing for shooting at law enforcement officers faces new charges for drunken driving.

Daniel Wilson of Oologah is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Wilson is the former mayor of Foyil. He was arrested earlier this month after a one-vehicle accident near Oologah Lake.

Wilson was convicted last month of assault with a dangerous weapon for shooting at officers during a standoff last year. He did not run for re-election.
