Tulsa homicide detectives and the fugitive task force arrested a murder suspect Tuesday afternoon.

They arrested 45-year-old John Ingram. He's accused of beating to death his common law wife, a week and a half ago.

Tulsa Police had conducted an intense manhunt for Ingram last week using horses, helicopters and the SWAT team.

Detectives believed he was still in the area because they say he was making threatening phone calls to witnesses in the case.
