A local car dealership is showing support for our military men and women serving overseas.

Nelson Nissan-Mazda presented a check for more than $11,000 to the Oklahoma Chapter of the Blue Star Mothers. The money will be used to pay for the postage of more than 600 freedom boxes that will be sent to our troops.

The contribution is the largest one-time cash donation ever to the Blue Star Moms.

The money was raised during a month-long campaign in which Nelson Nissan donated $100 from each new car sold in May.
