A former NFL player is among 21 people accused of participating in a dog fighting operation in Oklahoma.

Hughes County prosecutors allege former All-American running back LeShon Johnson was involved in a ring that held fights between pit bull terriers and gambled on the outcome of the fights.

Johnson has been charged with racketeering and conspiracy following a 17-month investigation.

Felony dog fighting in Oklahoma is punishable by up to ten years in prison.
