Because homelessness is increasing in single women, awareness is being raised about a local agency that's reaching out to help.

It’s called Glory House. It’s been in Tulsa since 1994. Through a special nine month program, Glory House helps women find purpose and get back on the right track so they can once again become productive citizens and give back to their community. The program focuses on ministry, life skills and bible study.

Katy Jones, Glory House founder: "The women have a new foundation to build on, that's our purpose."

Glory House can currently accommodate 18 women at a time. But they're hoping to expand soon. For more information on Glory House, call 584-1808.
