Arrests are made in an armed robbery and shooting late Wednesday and early Thursday morning.
We begin at 700 North Lewis where shortly before 11 PM; the Caracole Bar was robbed by three men. Tulsa Police say they forced a waitress to go with them. She was dropped off blocks away unhurt.
A short time later, police were called to 31st and Mingo for a shooting. Police say an argument at a bar spilled over to nearby apartments. One man was shot and taken to the hospital. His injuries are not life threatening.
With the help of witnesses, Tulsa Police were able to find the suspects quickly. Those witnesses gave officers a vehicle description of a green SUV that left both scenes.
It was spotted a short time later. An officer followed it to an apartment complex near 4700 South Fulton. Three Hispanic males were taken into custody, and officers say they found plenty of evidence. Tulsa Police Sgt Steve Bayles: “they've recovered a cash box from the bar they also recovered a firearm and possibly we've recovered the cash from the armed robbery.â€
All three men were taken downtown for questioning. Police are still investigating.
