The last couple of weeks have been particularly deadly for Oklahomans in Iraq. Just one week ago, Specialist James Marshall of Tulsa was killed when his vehicle hit an explosive.

Early last week, Staff Sergeant Eric Petty of Fort Gibson was killed. He died in an ambush. And on April 30th, an Oklahoma US Marine, Corporal Scott Vincent of Bokoshe died in a rebel suicide bombing.

A total of 15 Oklahomans have died as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. One Oklahoma soldier has been killed in Afghanistan.
