A bicyclist was killed Wednesday after he was run over by a tractor trailer. It happened about 1 PM Wednesday at 23rd and Southwest Boulevard.

Witnesses tell Tulsa Police, the cyclist grabbed onto the side of the truck as it passed him. He apparently lost his balance and fell under the truck.

Tulsa Police Sgt Rick Bondy: "They're not supposed to do that, but it's not unheard of."

The victim's name has not been released.
