A civilian employee, just home from Iraq, talked about his experience with some young Tulsans. John Saulsbury made a stop at Key Elementary School Wednesday.
He talked about his time in Iraq working as a civilian contractor, serving meals everyday to hundreds of soldiers.
He said being away from his family was hard, but thoughts from home kept him going. "My heart is pounding. Tulsa's got it going on. We're from the East coast, came here, came home to a brand new house. Shown my wife so much love, enjoy everything."
John has a big decision to make, whether to stay here in Oklahoma with his family and their new home or return to Iraq.
