Tulsa is getting ready for the city's first Mexican rodeo. The Charreada de Tulsa is coming to the fairgrounds livestock arena later this month. Organizers say it's a good chance to experience an exciting part of Mexican culture.
Fred Ramos, Tulsa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President: "They're going to get a flavor of Mexico, not only flavor from the food standpoint, but the color, the pageantry, the horses, the costumes, the arts. They're gonna get a little flavor of Mexico - with the Tulsa tradition of course."
You can be a part of Tulsa's first Mexican rodeo - May 22nd and 23rd at Expo Square. Tickets are $25, and kids 15 and under get in for half price.
