KATMANDU, Nepal (AP) _ A bus skidded off a mountain highway in central Nepal on Saturday, killing at least 29 people, police said.
Another two dozen passengers were injured in the accident near the village of Dhaireni, about 160 miles west of the capital, Katmandu.
Details of the accident were not immediately known. Police officials reached by phone said passing motorists took the injured to hospitals.
Rescue workers have been sent to the area to help, the officials said.
