An Oklahoma City health-care firm plans to build a $20-million medical center where the Tanger Outlet Center once stood in Stroud.
Lincoln County officials say the development would help the county whose economy was blown away when a tornado leveled the 53-store outlet on May 3rd, 1999. The medical center would eventually bring about 150 to 200 jobs to the community.
Construction on the medical center could begin as early as this summer.
