Citgo has been a good corporate citizen while in Tulsa. Its decision to leave comes as sad news for organizations the company has helped. Citgo has sponsored Salk Elementary School for 14 years.

The support has amounted to about $100,000 in donations and hundreds of volunteer hours. Teachers and students wonder if that support will end, now that Citgo is moving its headquarters.

5th grader Jack Tomlinson: "It's one of those things. It's like friends. You lose them and they move away and stuff. And there are other friends that are staying here and you can join them."

5th grader Alexandria Zachary: "We'll find other sponsors, but Citgo has been really good friends in the past to all of us."

Citgo has helped Salk Elementary with computers, mentoring, and field trips.
