(Nashville, Tennessee-AP) -- Oklahoma native Reba McEntire was honored for her musical vision, innovative videos and pioneering initiatives Wednesday night at the Country Music Television Flame Worthy Video Music Awards.
She says she's honored to be given the Johnny Cash Visionary Award.
The award was renamed this year in honor of Cash, who died September 12th.
Another country singer with Oklahoma ties took home three awards tonight.
Toby Keith's song "American Soldier" was named video of the year.
Keith and Willie Nelson's duet "Beer for My Horses" won in the collaborative video and director of the year categories.
Fans chose the winners for the annual awards show.
