(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Thirty-five more people have died in traffic accidents in Oklahoma this year than by this time last year.

The state Department of Public Safety reports 208 people have died this year and 173 people had died last year at this time.

So far this month, 28 people have died. By April 18th, 2003, 26 people had died.
