Two Broken Arrow firefighters are sent to the hospital after battling a house fire. Firefighters were called to the home in the 1700 Block of West Montclair around 11PM Thursday.
When they arrived the home was engulfed in flames. The family managed to make it out safely. However, two firefighters who went inside to battle the flames were injured.
Broken Arrow Police Captain Paul Kroutter: “they have possible first degree burns to the face area and we're not sure whether they have lung damage or not due to smoke inhalation.â€
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but it appears to have started in the garage.
Both firefighters have been treated and released from a local hospital.
