A Muskogee Wal-Mart employee gets more than he bargained for when he tried to stop a shoplifting suspect.

Police say the employee, Jason Hallvin, approached Linda Anderson as she left the store. Officers say Anderson pulled out a knife and cut Hallvin on his shoulder and chest. She ran off and tried to get into several cars. Another Wal-Mart employee followed Anderson and police say she tried to cut him as well.

Police say Anderson then forced her way into a car with a woman and an eight month old baby inside.

Witnesses pointed police in the right direction and they were able to arrest Anderson without anyone else getting hurt.
