One of OSU's top football recruits charged last year with assaulting a Tulsa Police officer is now accused of assaulting his girlfriend.
Sand Springs Police say a 16 year old girl filed this report Saturday night, saying her boyfriend Prentiss Elliott hit her several times in the head after an argument at a movie theatre. The girl claims Elliott wanted to see a movie, but she wanted to go home.
Police say the verbal argument got physical. Sand Springs Police detective Jody Fogleman: "According to what she said and what she told EMSA personnel, he pushed her down. The back of her head struck the roadway and then he stood over her and struck her some more times."
Police say the girlfriend is no longer cooperating in the case but they still plan to send the case to the district attorney’s office for possible charges.
Elliott is charged in another case with assaulting a Tulsa police officer on December 9th at a basketball game.
