The John Q Hammons Hotel Classic is still several months away, but tournament officials made two big announcements Tuesday.

Ford is the presenting sponsor of the LPGA tournament and the Cystic Fibrosis foundation is the tournament's official charity. Entering its fourth year, the John Q Hammons Hotel Classic has become one of the most popular stops on the LPGA tour.

The tournament runs September 6th through the 12th at Cedar Ridge Country Club, which is a new location this year.
