Some Creek County high school students are brushing up on traffic safety. Sapulpa High School is hosting its annual traffic safety fair.
Students can see the importance of buckling up with a rollover simulator. They can also see what its like to drive under the influence. Event coordinators say it's all geared at teaching students how to stay safe on the road and about the consequences of underage drinking and driving drunk.
Sapulpa Police officer Jeff Gilliland: "We want to tell them how important drinking and driving can affect their lives, that one decision to drink and drive can be the end of that life or somebody else in the vehicle with them."
The traffic safety fair continues Wednesday.
