An accident in the Prattville area knocked out power to customers over several blocks Monday night.

Sand Springs Police say around 10:40 PM, a teen in a pickup with his girlfriend was speeding and lost control. The truck ran up a curb and hit a utility pole causing the outage.

No one was seriously hurt, although her parents took the girl to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

41st Street was closed for about an hour for clean up and repairs.
