OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A special committee will be formed to investigate whether to impeach state Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher.

The House voted 84-12 Tuesday in favor of a resolution calling for House Speaker Larry Adair to appoint the committee.

"There is a clear and repeated pattern of abuse of poser," said Rep. John Trebilcock, R-Broken Arrow, author of the resolution.

Fisher was recently indicted for the operation of a charity he established and the alleged embezzlement from an insurance education fund. He's also under investigation over allegations that he made an improper payment to a Florida attorney.
