(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma has swept a three-game college baseball series with Baylor.
Ole Sheldon had a career-high four hits and drove in the game-winning run as the Sooners beat the Bears 5-to-4 Sunday.
The game was tied at four-four when Sheldon's single down the middle scored Andrew McGuire. Relief pitcher Jarod McAuliff struck out six batters in the eighth and ninth innings to seal the victory.
OU took a 3-to-0 advantage, getting three runs in the first inning off McGuire's solo homer and RBI singles from Sheldon and Eric Thornton.
The Bears took a 4-to-3 lead in the second with a two-run double by Paul Witt and run-scoring singles from Drew Sutton and Michael Griffin. Bose's RBI single in the fifth inning knotted the score.
Casey Brown allowed one hit and no runs in one inning of relief for the Sooners. McAuliff got the save.
Sean Walker took the loss, allowing nine hits and five runs in six-and-a-third innings for Baylor.
